I’ve called many places home—born in Arkansas, spent my childhood in France and Senegal, and returned to the US (Springfield, Missouri) as a teenager. Growing up across cultures, I learned that God’s kingdom knows no borders.
I was saved by God’s grace at 7, and by 16, God had stirred in me a passion for global missions. My wife, Dena, and I have seen God’s faithfulness unfold in incredible ways as we’ve strived to walk in faithful obedience.
In 2009, we moved to Russia as church planters. It was there that we adopted our two children and deepened our understanding of the church’s central role in God’s mission. In 2017, we moved to Cardiff and helped plant Redeemer Church, where I’ve had the joy of pastoring ever since.
I enjoy spending time with my family, talking about the church, BBQ, and life in Splott. I’d love to meet you and introduce you to the Redeemer Church family.
I was born in Iraq but grew up in the Northeast of England. My family moved to Birmingham in 2012, which was the year the Lord saved me. I studied aerospace engineering in Swansea and during that time the Lord continued to mould me into the image of Christ and gave me a desire for ministry.
Following university, I spent some time working in engineering, before moving from the steelworks in Port Talbot to the Civil Service. It was during this time that I married Eve and we moved to Cardiff, where the Lord led us to Redeemer Church. Earlier in 2025 we became a family of three and welcomed our son into the world.
We greatly cherish the relationships we have developed at Redeemer and are extremely thankful for the love of the body of Christ we have experienced here in Splott. The Lord has been kind to rekindle my desire to serve as a Pastor and I do so joyfully at this local church.
